I found this photograph in a junk store by the ocean. In a
chemical/conceptual coup, the black and white image had taken on color
over the years. There was also a joke that went like this: "How come
some hills are bigger than others?" "I don't know." "Cuz they got more
stuff in 'em." It's not funny, but it does lend a hand in
neutralizing/evaluating the "stuff" of/in our lives. In the photograph,
scale is hard to negotiate; the amount of "stuffness" is unclear.
Mounted to mirrored glass, it can only offer feedback of its insides.
